Pack innovation
More companies than ever choose to invest in sustainability, innovation and improving the consumer experience; they are well aware of the value these things represent in terms of customer loyalty and market share.
One of our customers BFC, a well-known French contractor who for years has been involved in formulation, production and packaging for the chemical and detergent industry, is an excellent example of this. With over 20 machines, this well-known chemical company offers its customers a wide range of packaging solutions for propellants, liquids, washing powders and creams for the domestic, industrial, automotive and plant protection sectors.
BFC also provides its services in the natural detergent sector, and was able to radically innovate this niche, acquiring an important market share and anticipating the trend by using an eco-sustainable material like paperboard for most of its packaging.
Paperboard is the choice of the future for the packaging industry; it’s a material that’s easier to recycle than plastic, and it has a sustainable environmental impact.
But that’s not all! For a better user-experience, in 2013 the company improved its products with the easy-to-use Pac Spout dosing system made of special certified, water-repellent paperboard. The Pac Spout system is made entirely of paper, it's practical, and guarantees the packaging can be closed again securely every time it's opened. BFC products became very popular very quickly, and are now a "must" buy for French consumers.
In fact, the Tacom dispensing Spout system makes life so much easier for consumers when looking after the home, saving them time and money every day, making annoying product dispersion a thing of the past.
In France, buying products with these dosing systems is now a consolidated trend for consumers, rewarding the far-sighted choice of manufacturers to invest in eco-sustainable materials with success, making things easier for the customer with small, simple gestures.
Reconditioned packaging filling lines
To meet growing demand for its natural washing products, in 2021 BFC decided to add new machines to its production lines. Once again, the company put its trust in Tacom, purchasing a vertical carton filling line Tacom customized specifically to meet BFC’s needs. In fact, our services include also searching for and obtaining 2nd hand packaging lines and machines in a good state of repair that we then recondition and customize to meet the customer’s specific needs. Purchasing a used, reconditioned Tacom vertical carton filling line, is a sure guarantee of solid performance and reliability.
BFC customers
BFC supplies packaging for the products of important customers like Biovie, with its brand of the same name as seen in the photo, and Ekibio, another company offering cleaning and hygiene solutions for the home. Ekibio, with its Ecodoo branded boxes shown in our video, wanted to make its product 100% sustainable, not only in terms of the contents, but also the mono-material paperboard packaging with a practical Pac Spout dispenser.
In the video, Pierre Beaunez the general manager of BFC, talks about his experience with Tacom during the SAT (Supplier Acceptance Test) of the recently refurbished ready-to-deliver machine, expressing his satisfaction at seeing how the fruits of his farsighted entrepreneurial choices have matured.
